I know, its stupid not to pressure test a gas or oil tank but sometimes you take the chance. Because I didn't weld the tank myself I didn't check it but after mounting the tank on the Ironhead it was leaking in one tiny spot. While the bike is totally taken apart I found the leak by blowing air in the tank and holding it into water so easy job. Tig welded the small leak and tested again: no more leaks so far.
