WEEK #20: REBUILD OF THE 1967 IRONHEAD

Lots of stuff happened since last update but no time for updates. Here update Week #20. I will replace the rear drumbrake, sprocket and brakepads. It was about time....

Twin Air Dual stage Air Filters for the 1967 Ironhead

Again Twin Air did a great job making some custom Dual Stage Air Filters for my '67 Ironhead. Just a simple drawing and the guys in Veghel Netherlands know what to do. Thanks Pieter and Leo  for the nicest Harley-Davidson filters ever made.

Liberator show Aarle-Rixtel 28 March 2015.

As you can see this is my favourite "Car & Motorcycle Photo spot". Cleaned the bike, some touch ups, so its ready for the "Liberator Show" next weekend in Aarle-Rixtel.
Saturday we also have our BMX Event called: MINI FATJAM (#25 this year!) and in the evening we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of PAUL'S BOUTIQUE BMX HARDWARE STORE with Mooon playing at OJA Aarle-Rixtel, you are all invited. Sunday we will have 2 bikes at the Liberator show, well maybe 3 if I can find someone to take the Buell for a 800 meters ride.....

FINALLY SOLD THE SX125 2-STROKE HARLEY-DAVIDSON: NO MORE FRAU FRAGEN!

When I bought this 1974 Harley-Davidson SX125 2-Stroke in brand new condition I was in Heaven and thought to sell it for a million bucks. 3 years later I'm glad to have my money back, don't know why there was no millionair interested in this brand new 41 year old bike but maybe it was just cause it was made in Italy by AMF Harley-Davidson.... Eventually it went to GERMANY so the guy asked his wife this time. SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD so NO MORE FRAU FRAGEN!

Ironhead 1972 makeover almost ready.

Preview of the 1972 Ironhead, total frontside makeover, like it or not, this is the way it stays, for now...

Chaintentioner WL 1942 and Wheeldiscs

The BMX industry is full of amateurs, not a bad thing but when they think they make "something new" they are almost always wrong. No built in chaintentioners are not "new", check this 1942 Harley-Davidson Flathead. But on the other hand, BMX had these wheeldiscs in the '80's and now they are going to be popular in the Harley-Davidson chopper scene. I have these EMD's at home waiting to go on the '67 Ironhead.
