Backproblems cause a lot of pain last year and riding motorcycles was not the best to do, specially the hardtail but I also had trouble on the Buell X1. So I made a back rest out of a 1986 sissy bar from the "Flat tracker" when it was original. Two book rack stands made it fit perfect underneath the bag holder so I have some extra support in the back. I told you before the Buell is going to be a Bagger....Its still for sale but as long as the money is not in my pocket I keep on cruising the beast.

Workshop Wednesday 2016 #8
Made a skidplate for the Flattracker today, just a piece of aluminium hammered in place, some speedholes to make it lighter and cooler. Some black paint and drilled the holes afterwards to give it a two tone look in Black/Silver. Took an hour but I like it very much and it costed nothing do can't go wrong with that. Some little finetuning things and we are ready for HARLEY & SNOW next month.
Nitro Circus Live 2016

Workshop Wednesday 2016 #5
Brakepedal was junk all the time but I "repaired" it and it worked for a while. With the bike totally rebuild it is safer to install a new one. Easy to buy at Motorcyclestorehouse/BaMo Tech so while waiting I took a BMX Seatpost and made a spacer out of it for the brake pedal. Shimano DX pedal inserts will hold the spacer/brake pedal axle in place. And last but not least: a flat front tire...yes that was the last thing I didn't touch so now I had 100% of the bike in my hands.

Workshop Wednesday 2016 #4
Plumbing: Oil lines are installed, waiting for clamps but it will look pretty clean when ready. No more shitty "Braided" oil lines, just plain rubber will do the job. This is almost the last real big job to be done and than it will be placing the battery, clutch cable, exhaust, airfilter etc etc, well not really the last big job then.

Workshop Wednesday 2016 #3
Before I opened Paul's Boutique BMX I was saving money for a BUELL S3 Thunderbolt like you see in the picture. I liked the idea to have a fast "Harley-Davidson" to commute between house and work but it never happened. In 2003 I bought a Buell X1and till today I only rode about 5K km with it and its time to use it more. I will turn this motherfucker into a "bagger" with bags, backrest, GPS and a windscreen. I was looking for a windscreen on the internet and everything I saw sucked so I made one fram an old windscreen laying in the workshop. Need some finetuning but I guess I will like it, next up is a proper GPS, NO TOMTOM cause I hate that company! Guess it will be a Garmin.

Last day of 2015!
2015 was not my best year but the last day was awesome! Biltwell Inc is going to support my "Harley-Davidson Racing career" in 2016 and today I received two boxes filled with the finest Biltwell Inc stuff. Beyond stoked I am with thiw care package and can't thank McGoo and Bill enough for their ongoing support. I will do my best to keep on promoting Biltwell in Europe as good as I can. Had to try the new GRINGO S helmet today, I never rode a bike on December 31st but my friend "El Nino" made it possible this time. 2016 will be a RAD year!
