Workshop Wednesday 2015/2016 #13
Oiltank was a bit shiny so I sprayed a bit matt black over the flakes to match the frame, result is not too bad for an amateur. Last WW of 2015, thanks for following Hoodlum Society this year and hope you have an awesome 2016!

Old School Sticker
This sticker from the 70's was always in my possesion and today I turned the "HONDA" text into "Hoodlum Society" and finally put it somewhere. It didn't fit the ribbed tank so I sticked it to the 1972 Ironhead so it has that 70's vibe again.

Workshop Wednesday 2015/2016 #12
Cleaned up the 1986 XLH1100 fork up and installed it in the frame again. It helps doing this for the 10th or so time, takes only a couple of minutes. Next up Headlight, Bars, Grips and electic.

Workshop Wednesday 2015/2016 #11
Let it snow! Preparing for the HARLEY & SNOW race in March 2016. New MITAS Snowtire installed, fits like a glove....well a tight glove it is. A few millimeters from the frame and chain, hope thats enough. If not I just cut the knobbies a bit. Wider tire is not an option so maximal traction I hope.

Workshop Wednesday 2015/2016 #10
Engine is in the frame, kinda heavy but did it the Old School way on the ground. Engine on some pillows and put the frame around the engine and placed the bolts in the rear, than the front and next the topmount. Everything went fine except my motor lift broke down so I had to fix that first hahaha.

Workshop Wednesday 2015/2016 #8
The 1986 H-D Racer is almost ready. Made a frame for the Redmax polyester XR fender/seat from an old FIT BMX frame and now its time to make a race stand to make it easy for the mechanic (Ba Mo Tech). Placed some "Bobbins" and of course my standard wheel stand didn't work so had to cut two more FIT BMX forks for the headtube pipe and will weld it to the stand to make it higher. Extra bar for strenght, welding this week and off to the powder coater. Biltwell is on board for supporting the 2016 Harley&Snow and Liberator Chopperspeedway events, hope we can find some more sponsors.

Workshop Wednesday 2015/2016 # 7
Preparation of putting the engine in the frame again. Still some small things to do but "engine meets frame" is very very soon. Can't wait to build this bike up again since I took it apart a year ago. Lots of photo's will help my memory...

Workshop Wednesday 2015/2016 #6
Very excited news: ITS ALMOST READY!!!! Ba Mo Tech finished the building of the 1967 Ironhead engine and we only have to wait for a new starter and fix the starterbolts (thinner and shorter for the new Hitachi starter) This engine will be better than it left the factory 48 years ago and hope it runs for an 48 years again.

Workshop Wednesday 2015/2016 #3
Ordered a new splined shifter on Ebay and within a week it was mounted on the engine, fast delivery from the States still excists. Made the old clutchcable fit the Universal Motocross clutch lever so I can use standard Harley-Davidson clutch cables from now on. Have to make some adjustments at the sprocket cover but thats another WW.
