WEEK #2 REBUILD OF THE 1967 IRONHEAD

Cleaning up the frame, I will fill all the holes that I don't need anymore. The neck will be smoothed out and thinking of welding the "Bolt On" section to the frame so its a bit stronger and it is safer if I loose a bolt again.....

WEEK #1: 1967 IRONHEAD RESTORATION.

Workshop Wednesday's are gone, it will be weekly updates on the rebuild of the 1967 Ironhead Sportster. Engine is out of the frame, need a total rebuild with new cylinders/pistons/bigend/oilpump/clutch/mayby gearbox etc so lots of work/money to go this Winter of 2014/2015.

Frame will be cleaned up, holes are going to be filled, everything shaved and we will check if the bolt on frame is straight. Powdercoater is ready but I'm not sure about the color yet but I have some weeks to think about it. Haven't seen any cracks yet but we will see if the paint is off.
