Hoodlum Society: deadlines are for pussies.

Bikes are ready for the Liberator 2013 Harley-Davidson show at the end of our street, its going to be the coldest ever, minus 10... but with only a mile to go the bikes are not warm enough to heat your hands. It was a good and long winter, hope we can ride the shit of all our bikes this summer.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR! Last Workshop Wednesday:

I was lucky enough to testride the project I worked on for 22 weeks a while ago. THIS IS SPRING IN THE NETHERLANDS! Only 3 days to go for the Harley-Davidson Liberator show, its only 1 mile from my house but I think I have to order some snowchains now. Fuck this, I used at least 15 spray cans, spilled a gallon of fork/engine oils to make the World a bit warmer but Al Gore is a liar, the World is not gonna warm up any soon.

Motor Mount

         Cleaned up the motormount and made a switch for the headlight for Hi-beam and Low.

Mirror Mirror on the Bike.

   Lowbrow shipped an awesome mirror, nice chrome, fully adjustable, small but big enough.

Workshop Wednesday #22

Steve Crandall likes my new battery box, FBM sprocketguard to hold the battery, with a Vans belt to secure it even better. The last picture showed how it was before, I like the new setup way better, and you? Period way INCORRECT is the 12V socket but I like to have a good battery on my bike and don't give a damn what you think about that, my knees are bad and I don't need a "Ironheadknee".
Next week some small detailing and the bike is ready for the Liberator show.

Workshop Wednesday #21

Worked all winter on Avy's bike and she said: "It's cool Dad!" so she approved all modifications. She has to wait 15 more years to ride this then 60 years old bike but till that time I can modify and test ride this '67 Ironhead. Harley-Davidson Liberator show is in two weeks but I'm going to Estonia for a week so all bikes have to be ready before tomorrow. No problems so far so I can cruise the 1 mile to the show with 4 bikes next weekend. Deadlines are never a problem at Hoodlum Society.

Battery box update

The '67 Ironhead needed a new battery box and all electric stuff/ignition switch/start button is going to move, I like wiring work on Harley's and always try to keep it simple for road repairs.

Headlight for #86

              Made a new headlight for the '86, an Enduro MX with CE mark so 100% legal....

Workshop Wednesday #20

#86 is back! Rode 90mls/h today with no problems, this thing is fast. The Mikuni HS42 was on there before but the rest is new: New Pistons, Cylinders, Andrews V2 cams, Valve guides, Valve ports etc and for the looks: Pearl blasted heads and polished covers. It's a BEAST! Thanks mechanic.
