Brake a leg.

Rearbrake is working again, it was hard to find out what brake it was. Took the brakepads as a guideline and found out they were from a Kawasaki Z250 from the late 70's. Okay its a Japanese brake but so are your forks I guess. Replaced the rubbers, new oil and even bought new brakepads on the Dutch Graiglist.

Nothing beats a Motocross Session.

That's right: Nothing beats a Motocross session with my brother Bart at the hometrack in Hellmond. Nice weather today so the track was real nice, no dust, no mud, just perfect. Motocross rules.

1987 VINCENT FRAMES MINI CRUISER, only 3 in the world! My last BMX Old School build, have about 30 bikes now so don't have space for another one, its 1 out, no in at the moment. Also no inspiration for a bike that I don't have already. This one came out very nice, I hate 24" BMX Cruisers but this one is close to a 20"...

Brake problems for the '72

Brake problems Ironhead 1972: Brakelight didn't work so I took another bike to Bottrop, kinda lucky that it didn't work cause Andy or me shouldn't have had a working brake on our trip to Germany... It wasn't the brake light switch, after mounting a new one it still didn't work, the plunger of the "not original" brake pump got stucked in the reservoir so it didn't move the oil to the caliper. After cleaning and polishing all the parts it was working again and now the brake works perfect. I need two brakes on my bikes!

The U.K. chopper dudes arrived yesterday evening at the Hoodlum Society headquarters, today we are going to have a BBQ at 18:00h and we will leave Friday morning for BOTTROP KUSTOM KULTURE Show, its going to be a rough ride but we are well prepared....NOT! Find the Hoodlum '67 and '72 Ironheads at the show, or watch for them on the road or next to the railing, no no trailerqueens here.

This weekend: BOTTROP KUSTOM KULTURE! Tom, Fids and some other U.K. dudes are coming over for this, should be fun, Andy Z is taking the Hoodlum '72 Ironhead and I will bring the  Hoodlum '67 Ironhead.

The best day of the year was again: The best day of the year! TMV dealerday at the Grand Prix track Valkenswaard was sunny again and the track was well prepared. Thanks to Bart de Jong (www.fatbmx.com) for the awesome pictures and the guys at TMV to keep me motivated to ride that KTM SX144 for another year. Motocross rules, nothing can beat a session on a Grand Prix track.

The Merc is almost ready, have to paint the frontwheels and polish the wheel nuts and its ready to go. Not the best paintjob but good enough for now.Like it or not.
